D = Dessert

Danish Dessert Cake

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

Frosting

1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
1 c. powder sugar
1 package of cool whip

Topping

1 package of Danish Dessert prepared; mixed with your choice of fruit. (I prefer Strawberry!)
